WORDS FROM THE EAST

To All Brethren
The brethren of White Mountain Lodge No.3 are pleased to announce the installation of our 2005 officers on Saturday December 11, 2004. Our stated meeting convenes at 10:00 AM, luncheon at 11:30 PM. After our luncheon, at 1:00 PM, we will present certificates to the first, second and third place winners of our Essay Contest.
The installation should start at approximately 2:00 PM at the Globe Masonic Temple. Worshipful Brother Henry London was installed as master of Doric Lodge No.26 located in Miami, Arizona in 1954 (50 years ago), and will be installed as Master in White Mountain Lodge No.3 in Globe.
Lunch will be served at the Masonic Temple 180 N Broad St. Globe Arizona at 11:30 AM.
Please let our Secretary Joe Henry (928-425-6686) or Paul Dore (602-920-0456) know if you plan to attend the luncheon as we need a count to assure we have enough food.
This will be a special occasion and one that you will surely want to attend.  I am sure this will be a first, at least in Arizona; to install a brother 50 years to the month he was previously installed as Master. The Installing Officer will be MW Oscar T. Lyon Jr., PGM, Installing Marshal MW Charles J Shoup Jr., PGM, and Installing Chaplain, Worshipful Brother Howard Billingsley.
Fraternally,
Paul J Dore Sr.
2004 Master, White Mountain Lodge #3

My Brothers,

The year of 2004 is quickly moving toward it’s close and a new Masonic year is about to begin. I have many emotions passing through me as I write my last message as Master of this great lodge.
I want to thank the Great Architect of the Universe for His gifts and guidance and all that He has provided for me in strength, wisdom and fortitude throughout this year, my wife Linda for giving me the time and encouragement to serve my home lodge, all of the members for giving me the privilege to serve you as Master and for the support you have given me both with your words of encouragement and labors, especially those members who regularly attend our meetings and make the daily operation possible, all of my officers for the exceptional work they have done and I especially thank our secretary Joe Henry and treasurer Oscar T Lyon Jr. for their constant assistance without which we all would greatly suffer, the trustees for the work they have done assisting me in the task of operating this lodge our past masters that have been willing to assist when asked and the committee chairmen Rusty Moore (Widows, Sickness & Distress and Kids voting Committees), Bill Greenen (Trestleboard Editor and School programs Committee), Howard Billingsley (Masonic Information Committee).
Brothers of White Mountain Lodge #3, the year 2004 has been an outstanding year for our lodge and I would like to review some of our accomplishments. We held our Ladies and Widows appreciation luncheon on Sweetheart Day February 14th, we held our first annual Law Enforcement Officers of the Year Program on March 13th, we presented two bicycles for books to East Globe School at the awards program on May 18th, we held our Past Masters recognition program on July 10th, we held our First Essay contest at Lee Kornegay Jr. High School in Miami and High Desert Middle School in Globe this fall and will present certificates to the winners on December 11th at 2 o’clock prior to our installation of officers and after our luncheon held in our dining room.. We delivered two bicycles to Lee Kornegay middle School in Miami and two bicycles to High Desert Middle School in Globe, to be awarded at the conclusion of the 2005 school year. We have increased our participation in our communities, which I feel will benefit us in the future.
Congratulations to our new line of officers for the year 2005. Especially WB Henry London who has stepped up and is committed to lead our lodge to a higher level. and make this a great year for White Mountain Lodge #3. WB Henry was installed (50) fifty years ago this month as Master of Doric Lodge in Miami, Arizona. This I am sure is a first in Masonry. Lets try our best to attend as many meetings this year and support our new line of officers.
My brothers, again I thank you for the privilege of serving White Mountain Lodge #3 as Master and I wish you and your families a blessed Holiday Season and a beneficent New Year.

Note: . Our luncheon will be held in our dining room on the third floor. It is very important that those that plan to attend the luncheon either notify Secretary Joe Henry 928-425-6686 or Paul Dore 602-920-0456 no later than December 8th.
