It's been a long stretch between 1977 and 2011 but we once again support a Royal Arch Chapter. Congratulations!

Law Enforcement Luncheon this Saturday. Support your local law enforcement officers. They deserve it.

FROM THE  HIGH PRIEST

I am very pleased with the tremendous support we have received from the brothers of White Mountain Lodge #3 to re-organize the Royal Arch Chapter in Globe.  Globe Chapter # 7 decided to consolidate with Safford York Rite in 1977.  We plan to receive our original charter back at the Grand York Rite annual sessions in August.

We currently have 20 Royal Arch members that have affiliated with our new Chapter which includes 12 from White Mountain Lodge #3. We also have received petitions from 5 brothers from White Mountain Lodge #3 to receive the degrees.

We held our first stated convocation on March 12, 2011, with nine Royal Arch Masons in attendance. We elected the five brothers and filled all the officer chairs.

The first of the four Chapter degrees is the Mark Master and will be conferred on April 9th at 2 PM after our annual Law Enforcement Award Luncheon at Guayos on the Trail.

If you have any questions, please contact me or our Secretary of the Globe Chapter Ed Warner.

The second Saturday of each month is truly a Masonic Day in Globe.  We start the day with a great breakfast from 9 AM to 10 AM in our dining room on the third floor, followed by White Mountain Lodge Stated Meeting at 10 AM.  We then have lunch with the Globe Chapter of Eastern Star followed by the Globe Chapter of Royal Arch Masons at 1:30 PM.

At the April White Mountain Stated meeting we will honor and award four 50 year and three 60 year anniversary pins. Our luncheon will be at Guayos on the Trail where we will honor our annual Law Enforcement officers of the year. After our monthly Royal Arch Chapter convocation we will confer the Mark Master degree on five candidates.

Our candidates are Harold Benjamin, Forrest Hammer, Timothy Humphrey, William Sneyd, and R. Scott Teichrow.

Something to Think About

What Is Freemasonry?

By M.W. Brother Dewey W. Goldstein

Try to define it. Freemasonry is a sublime effort on the part of Masons to give living proof to the world that all men are brothers. The best definitions are inadequate. Then describe Freemasonry. It is
Understanding, Tolerance, Love, Hope, Reverence and Charity, all working through men who believe in the nobility of mankind, in the God-made destiny of men, and in the final triumph of good over evil.

Our description is inadequate. Freemasonry is the cable-tow that joins the hearts of Masons. It is felt in prosperity; it tugs at the heart of the brother in distress and at the heart of the brother who answers the call of distress. Freemasonry is a Spirit that goes with a handshake. It is the mystery of Love, the silent working of Nature. It is God's justice administered by men who know God's mercy.

Freemasonry is that which brings sweet tears to the eyes of a father when his son knocks at the inner door.

Have we described Freemasonry? No, but there is something else to add:
Freemasonry is that which dictators despise.

Words to live by: "You know more of a road by having traveled it than
by all the conjectures and descriptions in the world." William Hazlitt
