Master Corner Brethren, First, I would like to apologies for not getting a trestleboard published for the last few months. I was overloaded with various masonic duties and time got away from me. I have passed the torch for the Grand Council to our own Past Master Bill Garrard. I was appointed to Grand Captain of the Host for the Grand Chapter which means if God wills, I will be Grand High Priest in three years. I'm excited about the future of White Mountain Lodge because on Sep 17th, we will host a Child ID program in Globe. It will be conducted at the hospital in a conference room. We are partnering with the Globe Police Department and the Hospital which is a great step forward. We could use all the help we can get. I've attached the flier at the bottom of the newsletter. This is a great opportunity to get further involved with the community with a program adopted by many Masonic lodges through the country. Please wear a lodge shirt if you have one. If you would like one, contact WBro Paul our Secretary. I would like to commend Senior Warden Ed Fox for spearheading this effort and Wbro Tim Humphrey for his support and interface with the Globe Police Department. Elections will be held in Nov and I fully support Bro Ed to be our new Master. He has demonstrated his commitment to the lodge and will continue to place the lodge in a position to grow.
Bill Greenen, Master

Something to Think About
AN ARIZONA MASONIC
FOUNDATION FOR CHILDREN INITIATIVE
IN CONJUNCTION WITH
THE GLOBE POLICE DEPARTMENT AND THE COBRE VALLEY REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER, GLOBE
Proudly announce the presentation of the Mason EZ Child ID KIT—free to children of the families of Globe area. When: Saturday, 17 Sep 2016, 9am to noon.
Where: By the Medical Center Emergency Room—look for signs.
Children must be accompanied by at least one parent/guardian.
Why do this? Nearly 800,000 children younger than 18 are missing each year, or an average of 2,185 children reported missing each day. More than 200,000 children were abducted by family members. More than 58,000 children were abducted by non-family members.
The key to recovering these children is quick action by parents and law enforcement. A statistic by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children states that “the first two hours after a child is abducted are the most critical.” The KIT makes it quick
EZ Child ID has worked directly with the National Mason Child Identification Foundation Program foundation in developing our software. We have worked with law enforcement officials to ensure that our digital fingerprinting system is up to their standards. We ensure that we capture all the vital information required by the Amber Alert system. We also record a digital video with voice which is saved in digital avi format. Our EZ Child ID form includes all 10 fingerprints and is saved in the universal PDF format. The parent not only receives a printed EZ Child ID form, they also get a CD with all the information on it and two laminated ID cards and also a DNA swab to keep for further use. This allows the parent the opportunity to reprint the EZ Child ID form at home if they desire. The parent is the only person who retains their child’s information. We only keep the signed consent form—all files are permanently deleted after each session.
